First matter of business – holy November! I can’t believe October has already come and gone. We keep getting teasers of cold weather, and then the next day it will be 80 degrees again. I’ve been stalking Courtney’s Instagram to get inspiration for all the coats I need to start purchasing, she really always has the best coats. Inevitably it gets colder so much later down here, so she’s always ahead of the game. But for now I’ll just enjoy the semi-cooler weather and wear out some of my favorite fall tops – like this awesome gingham number.
I was super obsessed with gingham over the summer, so I’m excited to carry it into fall and mix some prints. I’ve also worn it with a cute floral skirt, I’ll post it later on so you can see how easy it is. This wrap top is really flattering and gives my little boyish figure some shape! Plus it’s a great top to wear to work which is always an extra bonus for me. I found it in several colors on a few different sites so I’ll probably buy one or two just to have some variety. Sometimes I get in a lull when I’m getting ready for work and just throw on a tank and a cardigan every single day, so if I find a fun top that’s work appropriate I want it in as many colors as possible.
Sidenote – I just laughed out loud looking at this picture. Nothing like an awkward hand to ruin a picture! My husband always gets mad at me when we’re taking photos for the blog because he says I move around too much, and I’m like babe chill out I’m just trying to look natural. And then I get pictures like this. At least my hair looks good? If you’re a blogger I know you’re with me. Aways, I’ve linked several versions of this top below, including some other cute tops in black and white gingham.
