Thank goodness the color blue is everywhere these days, so I have plenty of options to match my soul on a Monday. I had a great weekend balanced with work, family and friends – so really I shouldn’t be feeling the Monday blues at all. But just knowing the weekend is over creates a little melancholy.
Just physically going back to work isn’t necessarily the hardest part. It’s finding something to wear that gets me stressing. I feel like I’ve been wearing the same 5 sweaters all winter long, so I’m definitely ready for new spring tops to transition my work wardrobe. The only problem is that SO MANY of the cute tops coming out right now are definitely not office-appropriate. As much as I’d like to think I could wear a cold-shoulder to work, I still can’t. But this top is great because the length still works with a high-waisted pant, and we all know how I feel about a ruffle sleeve.
However, I’m still on the hunt for lots of work appropriate tops to welcome in the new warmer weather. Please leave any suggestions in the comments, I’m up to try anything!
