This or That: Team Wang

Ladies and Gents: one of the most exciting collabs of the year is about to hit stores. Alexander Wang for H&M will be available in 250 stores worldwide and online on November 6thThe Alexander Wang x H&M collection will feature apparel and accessories for men and women that captures the speed of the city, mixing sport and performance to create a new street-chic wardrobe. The collection is full of experimental and cutting-edge techniques, such as laser-cutting, embossing, foam-injecting and bonding. Another super cool concept coming in with the designer collaboration is the objects collection, a humorous take on everyday items that compliment the collection. Want an Alexander Wang x H&M yoga mat? Water bottle? Sunglasses? Or maybe you're in the market for a new pair of swim goggles. This collection is something we've been anticipating for months, and we are beyond pleased with the results. You can check out the awesome video from the runway show and launch party here

7 more days, people. TEAM WANG.

Living in Style

As two girls living in a very big world, we both need a place to call home. A place to come back to at the end of a long day. A place to kick our feet up and enjoy a glass (or three) of wine. And our personal fashion styles greatly influence our decorating. Accessories can make or break an outfit, just as they can for a home. Finding the perfect rug, lamp, and table accents make your living space feel like yours

We recently found out about Modani, a chic furniture store specializing in modern and contemporary furnishings. We can't get enough of all of their pieces. We love combining sleek, modern shapes with classical, vintage-inspired pieces (as we so often do with our fashion). We used the Onyxia Sofa as the centerpiece of our living room. We love the modern update they made to an old-fashioned style. We added gorgeous accessories like the baroque mirror and the barcelo lamps to mix in a chic and contemporary feel. Of course, the room wouldn't be complete without pops of color, so we threw in these fun pillows. You can head to Modani's website to find each of these items! Want to see Modani furniture in person? Feline Accessories

Everyone loves a good leopard print. I have so much in fact, sometimes I just want to wear it all. But there are more tasteful ways to incorporate leopard into your everyday wardrobe. Accessories are the best: shoes, belts, bags and scarves. You can add a couple of those to a simple outfit and call it perfection. But of course, even with the leopard, I couldn't leave this neutral ensemble without an extra touch of color. So I added my new favorite clutch courtesy of Neiman Marcus (it's on sale for under $50, by the way).

I wore this over the weekend to the grand opening event for the brand-spankin-new H&M store at Southlands in Aurora. You can head to my Instagram (here) where I am giving away a $50 H&M gift card! And or all my Colorado peeps, if you spend $65 (or more) at the Southlands H&M between Oct. 27 - Nov. 2nd, you can take your receipt to the redemption booth for a free $20 Southlands giftcard! Also, you should just go to Southlands anyways, because the wine bar is awesome and I'm obsessed with outdoor shopping malls.

Silk Shorts + Chunky Sweater

As I finished unpacking all of my winter clothes this weekend I quickly realized most of winter wardrobe is dark: navy, black, grey. As the weather cools down I tend to gravitate towards easy looks with not much color involved. There is just something about an all black look that screams easy and effortless. I love the lace details in the shorts paired with the chunky knit.

While I feel (happily) trapped into wearing darker hues all winter long, I am open to adding more color into my looks this season. In case you didn't notice, I have really been into bright or vampy lips lately. As I have gotten older my make up routine has gotten shorter. Thank goodness. Between mixing textures and adding a colorful lip I think I am onto something new this season.

Texture Plethora

One of my favorite things about Fall is doing some intense texture play. I love combining different fabrics and materials to give an outfit more dimension and interest. Here I was working with leather, fur, silk and a super chunky knit. You can take any sweater and throw it over a cute summery dress to get an effortless Fall look. I'm also loving earth tones, which are very useful in balancing out my skin tone as I turn into a vampire in the winter. Maybe it's time I start looking into different self-tanners to use at home.
