Packing for Paris

I head to Paris for a week on Thursday. You would think I would having packing down to an art as this is my fourth time going. When I travel anywhere I typically only take a large tote and a small suitcase to carry on. So I pack basics that can be mixed together, sticking with neutrals and adding color with accessories and lipstick. Do you have any packing tips you swear by? I would love to hear!

This or That: Bundle Up

As our first, full-out Fall 'This or That' post of the season, we are excited to be partnering up with H&M! Their new Fall collection is incredible, featuring a utility meets feminine theme. There are pieces to fit every girl's style, and of course every girl's budget. We were so excited to get the chance to show off some of their amazing new items to bundle up in, and help you kick off your Fall wardrobe. Courtney's faux fur jacket needs to be on the top of your outerwear wish-list, because it's undeniably gorgeous and we love the jacket/cape combo. Stephanie's oversized sweater is one of our favorites from the collection, and the baby pink adds a subtle pop of color.

Want to jump start your Fall wardrobe? How about with fifty dollars to H&M? Yes, you read that right. We are giving away a $50 H&M giftcard to one of our Darling Two readers! To enter, simply share the photo above on your Twitter, Instagram and Facebook using the hashtag #HMFallFashion, and tag @HM and @stephbarger or @courtneyadrienne. You can check out H&M's fall collection here...so go ahead and start picking out your purchases.

*The winner will be selected at random by 9/25

Enjoy & Indulge

Did you see last week's post of Enjoy & Indulge? One thing that's very different about us is our shopping habits. Courtney loves to find a good bargain. If it's on sale, she's about 100% more likely to buy it. Stephanie has a more expensive side, and loves to splurge on more expensive investment pieces. So we created this segment to incorporate both of our tastes on must-have items. Today it is all about sweaters. As cooler weather is quickly approaching, stock up on some of these sweater trends. Save some money and ENJOY Courtney's picks (most are under $50!), or splurge a little on sweaters Stephanie INDULGES in.

Silk Onsie

One of my obsessive go-to pieces is a jumpsuit. They're so comfortable and its a one-and-done outfit, which leaves room for simple or eclectic accessories. This onsie is a new favorite, because it LITERALLY feels like pajamas. The silk is gorgeous and feminine, and I love the handkerchief print. I'm currently on the hunt for one just like this but maybe with a long sleeve. I have a feeling that jumpsuits are going to slowly overtake the maxi dress department in my closet. And unlike your short rompers, these can easily be carried into fall and winter by throwing on a structured blazer or chunky sweater.

Overalls + Lace

Last time I wore this lace top was here and it was a much fancier occasion. I am a firm believer in recycling clothes, because if something is good why only wear it once? I loved the mix of the lace top paired with my overalls. Fall seems to be in full swing here, so goodbye shorts - see ya again in eight months.

September Surprise

Sorry for the late post today, darlings. We had a little surprise when we woke up this morning...SNOW. In September. I mean I know this is Colorado, but a snow this early is something I didn't expect. I'm a little confused/angry/cold. So I hid inside for most of my day until it warmed up to a whopping 45 degrees. The only thing that can make me happy about this weather is my giant, knit Zara scarf. Which you can find me bundled up in on my couch, riding out this cold and praying for a few more warm days.

This or That: Silk Dress

A silk dress combines two of our favorite things, comfort and sass. They're delicate enough to be work on their own, but they're great for mixing with other textures for the fall. Courtney's goes along with the PJ trend, but this "straight out of bed" look is sophisticated and chic. Stephanie's faux wrap dress is simple, and the bold color makes a fun layering option. You can shop some of our favorite silk dresses below!
